Baggage delivery
If you are unable to locate a bag upon arrival, you should notify an EVA airways baggage services agent prior to customs clearance. A report will be filed for you at that time, and you will be given a phone number for follow-up. You will receive periodic updates regarding the status of your baggage.
Reservation
EVA cannot change the name on reservation records or tickets. If you need to revise your ticket because your name has been misspelled, your first and last names transposed, an incorrect title used, or to add an alias, please contact an EVA reservations office so a correction can be made.
Order of Denied Boarding
- Passengers holding free or reduced fare tickets entitled to firm booking, issued by other airline.
- Passengers holding free or reduced fare tickets entitled to firm booking, issued by EVA.
- Passengers other than airline employees holding free or reduced fare tickets entitled to firm booking, with the exception of government inspectors or checkers.
- Revenue passengers (excluding volunteers) by considering lowest fare-type passenger first and highest fare-type passenger last.
EVA Launching
TAIPEI, TAIWAN (May 5, 2016) – EVA Air will launch non stop flights from Chicago to Taipei on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016.To start, the airline will operate four flights a week, using one of its latest-model, Wifi equipped Boeing 777-300ERs comfortably configured for 333 passengers in Royal Laurel business, Elite premium economy and Economy Classes. EVA is also giving passengers more itinerary flexibility by adjusting schedules to offer more daytime flights and increasing frequencies on existing routes. Convenient early morning departures and arrivals westbound and nighttime departures and arrivals eastbound will enable business travelers to use their workdays for appointments and meetings instead of running to or from an airport.

EVA flight BR55 will leave Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport at 00:20 (12:20 am) on Monday,Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday and land at Taipei’s Taoyuan International Airport at 06:00 (6:00 am) the next day. North America-bound flight BR56 will depart Taoyuan on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 19:50 (7:50 pm) and arrive in Chicago at 19:40 (7:40 pm) the same day.
Adding to current Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver services, Chicago is EVA’s eighth gateway in North America.As the airline continue to grow its services in this important market, it is adding three weekly daytime flights to existing daily New York service and further expanding operations to two trips a day on October 3. EVA will start adjusting its Los Angeles schedule on August 4, offering travelers morning, afternoon and nighttime flights to choose from.
